About the University

Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MU) is a private, non-profit educational institution located in India. Its history dates back to the 10th century and is considered one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in the country. MU collaborates with the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), and the Medical Council of India (MCI).

The university is ranked among the top 900 in the QS international university rankings. It is among the best in biomedical sciences, natural sciences, engineering, and technology. The university is ranked among the top 800 in the independent THE university rankings.
