Bachelor degree
After completing grade 11, it is not possible to enroll in a bachelor's degree at UTP. In Malaysia, school education lasts longer than 11 years, so applicants must complete one of the preparatory programs (A-Levels, Foundation, etc.). Alternatively, they can study for a year at a university in their home country. Admission to bachelor's programs is based on entrance examinations. A student's GPA is also taken into account. Before submitting documents, students must pass an English proficiency test. The university accepts IELTS or TOEFL scores.
Master's degree
A student's academic performance during their undergraduate studies plays a significant role in the university's admissions process. IELTS or TOEFL language proficiency tests are required to confirm their English proficiency. UTP offers online master's degree programs.
Campus
The university has a suburban campus. This means students study close to a major city and can easily reach it by public transportation. This location also fosters a close-knit student community, as all events are held on campus. The university has a functioning library. In addition to course materials in various fields, it contains a collection of classical and contemporary literature.
