To enroll at the University of Strathclyde, completing Year 11 is not enough. Since students in the UK study longer, they must first compensate for the academic gap by completing a year of study at a university in their home country or one of the preparatory programs (A-Levels, IB, Foundation, etc.). Before submitting their documents, applicants must take an English language test. The university accepts IELTS or TOEFL results. A TOEFL score of at least 73 is required. The IELTS exam must be scored at 5 or higher. A subject exam is mandatory. The university relies on A-Level results. An IB diploma is an advantage.
