To enroll at the University of Sussex, completing Year 11 is not enough. Since students in the UK study longer, they must first compensate for the academic difference by completing a year of study at a university in their home country or by completing a preparatory program (A-Levels, IB, Foundation, etc.). Before submitting their documents, applicants must take an English language test. The university accepts IELTS, PTE, or TOEFL scores. A TOEFL score of at least 80 is required. The IELTS requires a score of 6 or higher. The university accepts the ACT or SAT as a subject exam. An IB diploma is considered an advantage.
